The Ultimate Cycling Experience … On Water

Did you know that there is a Waterbike Challenge Race?

The Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation organizes the renowned Waterbike Challenge — a demanding 180-kilometer, 22-hour race across the open-sea from Corsica to Monaco including elite participants none other than Tadej Pogačar, four-time and current Tour de France winner (2020, 2021, 2024, and 2025) and Giro d’Italia champion (2024).

While we are proud to share that our Waterbikes have generated strong enthusiasm within the Foundation and sincerely hope they will be featured in upcoming challenges, we are especially mindful that the race ultimately serves a greater purpose: protecting children and improving their lives through water safety, drowning prevention, swimming education, and sport-based programs.

We wholeheartedly support this mission and are pleased to confirm that 10% of the proceeds from every Portofino Waterbike sold will be donated to the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation for this exact purpose.

Should you wish to make an independent donation at your own discretion, we would of course be happy to share the Foundation’s direct details with you.

Finally, we invite you to enjoy this short and uplifting video capturing the true spirit and emotions of the Waterbike experience.
